Dielectric strength test apparatus,to test the dielectric strength,according to IEC 60079.18 clause 8.1.2 dielectric strength test.
The sample shall be circular with a diameter of 50 mm ±1 mm and a thickness of 3 mm ± 0,2 mm. The sample shall be symmetrically pltween electrodes 30 mm± 1 mm in diameter,within a temperature controlled oven,set to achieve the highest maximum service temperature defined in IEC 60079.18 clause 3.3 of the compound.
Dielectric Strength Test Apparatus,with upper and under electrodes 30 mm ±1 mm in diameter, upper electrode with mass of 1N or 3N.
