To crush the hand held remote control devices,according to IEC62368 clause 4.8.4.6,flat surface measuring approximately 100mm by 250 mm, with a weight of 330N±5N,is applied to the exposed top and back surfaces of remote control devices placed in a stable condition.

Hand-held remote control devices shall be supported by a fixed rigid supporting surface in a position likely to produce the most adverse results as long as the position can be selfsupported.A crushing force of 330N±5N is applied to the exposed top and bottom surfaces of remote control devices placed in stable condition by a flat rigid surface measuring approximetely 100 mm by 250 mm for a period of 10 s.
