Mattress Support Platform Impactor

To detemine the mechanical strength and durability of mattress support platform,according to IEC60601-2-52 Annex BB.2 and figure BB.2.
Place the mattress,as specified by the Manufacturer,onto the Mattress Support Platform,in a position in which moving element are free of supporting elements and their inclination is less than 7o in relation to horizontal,and if height-adjustable,the Mattress Support Platform shall be placed in the middle of the possible range of the adjustment.
From a height of 180mm above the mattress,drop the impactor onto the MEDICAL BED 20 times onto each of the locatiions marked "B" in figure BB.1 of IEC60601-2-52,the impactor shall be allowed to fall freely,but guides may be used to help insure that the impacts occur as close as is possible to the recommended locations.
After application of the load,no elements of the MEDICAL BED shall becoe losse,fractured or present any HAZARD.
Standard outfit:
1 impactor body,with (200±5)mm in diameter,the face of which has a convex spherical curvature of 300mm radius with a 12mm front edge radius.
1 mass assembly,total mass of 25kg±0.1kg,the body and its associated parts(minus the springs) shall have a mass of 17kg±0.1kg.
1 spring system,spring rate is 6,9N/mm±1N/mm,the remaining compresstion distance is 60mm minimum.
