For vertical flame test for tubular polymeric materials,conform to IEC60695-11-21.
A tubular test specimen is supported vertically and exposed to a specified test flame,the burning behaviour is assessed by measuring the flaming time t,the extent of vertical flaming and dripping of flaming particles.
Flame application:applly the flame for 15 sand then remove it for 15 s.note the flame flaming time,t.Repeat the operation until the test specimen has been subjected to five applications of the test flame.Where flaming of the test specimen persists longer than 15 s after the previous application of the test flame, the test flame shall not be reapplied until flaming of the test specimen ceases of its own accord.The test flame shall be reapplied as soon as flaming of the test specimen ceases.
